Rick Rae of Parksville and Barry Creswell of Nanaimo, hope to get boxing back like it was in the sixties and seventies on Vancouver Island.

In  2007 Barry was the recipient of the

Harold Mann Award byBoxing BC.

For 2015 Barry is one of eight

nominees for the

BC Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame.
